You may not be aware that in Office 365 you can connect your Linkedin contacts to your Outlook Web Apps contacts. To do this, firstly login to your Office 365 web portal.

From the menu across the top of the page select People to be taken to your contacts.

In the lower left hand side of the screen you’ll see the hyperlink Connect to social networks, select this.

This will open another window which shows you the social networks you can connect to. Select the Connect hyperlink for the one you wish to connect to.

You’ll then be asked to login to your selected social network if you haven’t already. Then you’ll be prompted by the social network to allow permission. Select Continue.

You should then see that the selected social network is Connected.

After a short while your social network contacts should start appearing in your Outlook Web Access Contacts area. As long as you maintain the connection these will be updated.

So now you can see how easy it is to link your existing social media contacts to your Office 365.
